Avant Garde

Avant Garde is what I have decided to call my photography when I noticed most of my photos  didn't fall into a normal category of wedding or children, but rather I enjoy the macabre , fantasy, fashion, aspect of some photography i have grown to love.

For my portfolio this semester to tie in religion I have decided on doing the seven deadly sins, "The seven deadly sins, also known as the capital vices or cardinal sins, is a Western religious grouping and classification of vices.^[1] This grouping emerged in the fourth century AD and was used for Christian ethical education and for confession. Though the sins have fluctuated over time, the currently recognized list includes 

Pride

 Greed 

Lust,

Envy, 

Gluttony, 

Wrath 

and 

Sloth.

Art and Religion

Introduction: Your general view on 1) religion 2) the role of religion in contemporary art. Write one paragraph each.

I consider myself spiritual, I have a lot of beliefs. If praying to a someone helps you then that is amazing. Also my belief is that although there is so many categories of region, they are all the same.

The point of art to me is to make you feel something and if you can place region into it, it makes people think, since regligion  is so close to who we are
